The ShiningPowder is an upgraded version of the BrightPowder (meaning it's used when breeding to increase the chance of a shiny offspring). It has an increased chance of success (see below) and it can be stacked with the Everstone in a far more advantageous way. It works the same as the BrightPowder - it needs to be given to a shiny parent during breeding, and it is consumed when an egg is withdrawn, regardless of whether or not the egg is shiny. Pokémon which can't be used for BP breeding also can't be used for ShP breeding.

Success%: 10% (1 in 10)
When coupled with Everstone: The Everstone will always produce a shiny if the other parent is holding a ShiningPowder and is shiny. The chance of success becomes whichever is lower - the ShiningPowder's 10%, or the Everstone's success rate, if it's lower than that.
Retrieval Fee: Gets multiplied by 10 if the powder is successful. (instead of 20 like it'd be with BrightPowder)

Example:

A: Male shiny whatever holding ShiningPowder: 10% chance of success

B: Female HGSS2 Pikachu holding Everstone: 50% chance of success
C: Female Rocket Pikachu holding Everstone: 2% chance of success

AxB: 10% chance of success of shiny HGSS2 Pichu (with BrightPowder: 2.5% chance of success)
AxC: 2% chance of success of shiny Rocket Pichu (with BrightPowder: 0.1% chance of success)

Pokémon in your Sprite Gallery

You have deposited 23 Pokémon into your Gallery.
If you own a Gallery Voucher, you can retrieve a Pokémon from your Gallery through here.
To navigate, simply find the name of the species of the Pokémon you want to find, and click the link.

Sprite Gallery

Click the Image gallery shortcut on your shortcut bar to be taken to your gallery (or click the gallery icon in a user's profile to view their gallery).

When browsing a gallery, clicking a generation will lead you to all the sprites that user has for that specific generation. If you click an individual Pokémon within a generation gallery, you can see all the sprites a user has for that specific Pokémon.

Note that sprites aren't automatically added to your gallery as you catch Pokémon. You need to collect these sprites yourself.

There are two methods to add a sprite to your gallery: either by using a Pokémon in your party, or through the use of a special item.

By Party Pokémon

When viewing your own gallery, you'll have the option to add a Pokémon in your party to it. Click the Pokémon, then click "add", and confirm that you want to add it in the confirmation page. Doing this will make you lose the Pokémon, so be careful. The Pokémon cannot be returned once added to the gallery.

You can't use:

- Eggs
- Pokémon in trades
- Pokémon from the custom event
- Missingno. and GHOST
- Pokémon in Cherish Balls
- Pokémon which are bound to your account
- Pokémon which don't belong to you
- Pokémon that have a sprite you already have in your gallery.

You CAN use Pokémon in Shiny, Cross and POKé balls and the sprite you got through the balls is the one that is added. Meaning... even if your shiny Eevee was made shiny via Shiny Ball, you'll still get the shiny sprite in your gallery. Or if your Frillish is pink and in a Cross Ball, you'll get the pink Frillish sprite even if it was originally blue. Or if your R/B Ponyta was made R/B via POKé BALL, you'll still get the R/B sprite.

If you add a Pokémon while it's holding an item, the item will be returned to your Bag.

Keep in mind some Pokémon sprites have forms and gender differences. You won't get both male and female Starly if you add a Starly to your gallery - you need to add one male and one female Starly to the gallery. Only the specific sprite the Pokémon you're adding has will be added. Likewise, Pokémon with forms, like Unown, need to have all their forms individually added.

Since you lose the Pokémon when you add it to your gallery via this method, it not recommended to use rare sprites, legendaries, and anything you don't want to part with.

By Item

There are two items that allow you to add a Pokémon to your gallery without causing the loss of the Pokémon:

Spray Paint (Cost: Image5000 at Castelia City (Yun's discount applies) in Unova, Image4000 at Secondhand Shop)
Sells for Image2500 from your bag.
Adds a Pokémon's sprite to your gallery without removing the Pokémon. Consumed on use. Can only be used once per Pokémon. Releasing a Pokémon will reset this, so all adopted Pokémon can have Spray Paint used on them. You can see that a Pokémon had Spray Paint used by looking at its logs.

Spray Paint DX (Cost: 3 DP at the Header Shop or Image30000 at Castelia City (Yun's discount doesn't apply) in Unova, Image25000 at Secondhand Shop)
Sells for Image1000 from your bag.
Does the same as Spray Paint. Consumed on use. Can be used multiple times on the same Pokémon, and can be used on Pokémon which have had Spray Paint used on them.

So if, for instance, you have a Green Mew and use Spray Paint on it then sell it, the buyer can use Spray Paint DX to get the Mew's sprite for themselves. Or you can borrow a friend's shiny Winter Espeon and use Spray Paint DX on it, and so forth.

To use Spray Paint/DX, have them in your bag (not held by Pokémon) and waddle over to your gallery. Right next to the option to add a sprite to the gallery will be an option to use Spray Paint and an option to use Spray Paint DX (you'll only get options for paint you own). The paint is consumed after you confirm you want to use it.

Spray Paint has the same restrictions as adding other sprites except it can be used on account bound Pokémon and Pokémon in Cherish Balls (do note that it can't be used on NPC Pokémon like Labcoat Dude).

Tips: for common sprites, it's best to catch duplicates and put them in the gallery, since they're less valuable than Spray Paint. For valuables you don't want to part with, Spray Paint is the best option. Spray Paint DX is really geared toward sprites that most people don't have access to, and the Pokémon themselves would cost a small fortune to obtain.
